Weird Rear Rockshaft assembly

Postby Dale Finch » Tue Nov 30, 2021 12:38 pm

I recently bought a non-runner (#126619 on Serial Number on bolster = 1951, but mostly "C" Casting Codes = 1957). It has a "weird" rear rockshaft assembly, so I started looking into it.

Looks like it is a modified hand lift assembly, in comparing it to the photos from TM Tractors. Those farmers were able to solve a lot of problems with a welding set!!

If I’m not mistaken, there’s a procedure in a bulletin or manual for converting hand lift to hydraulic

Yep, cut down manual rockshaft. I have the same setup on mine except it still has the helper spring attached..
