What was used to stop swinging drawbar from swinging. TM only shows the drawbar in place. :tractor:

We used pins, large bolts. Stick the pins in drawbar holes where you want the swinging drawbar to stop.
I have an excuse. CRS.

Remove the swinging drawbar and use the holes in the standard drawbar. Or steel bushing(s) on one of both sides of the pin.

Unless the implement is bolted directly to the drawbar you will get some slop due to the differnces in the drawbar hole, pin, and hole in the implement attachment.

Edit. Back and forth slop. Do you mean towards the front and back of the tractor? Remove the swinging drawbar.
I have an excuse. CRS.

Personally, I pin the swinging drawbar all the way to the left or right and use the regular drawbar

I have used two square washers with the same size holes as the pins, and the slop has been eliminated to about 1/16". I'm sure a couple round washers ground down on one side would serve the same purpose...

I guess it depends on what you ar using it for. Typically, a draw pin was dropped in on each side and the remaining slack was ignored. I made a strap with 2 holes at drawbar spacing. It can be bolted down over the swinging drawbar to hold it snugly. I've never used it.

But shipping would probably cost him $200.00.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

And at the present time neither USPS or UPS are shipping to Australia, supposedly due to a lack or air cargo space.

I assume you mean slop side to side. Yes, there is going to be some. You can't get rid of it all.

On the H's and M's someone was making a device that was two pins welded with an arch between them to hold the drawbar in place. Steiner has them part IHS236 if you want to look at them for an idea.

Thank you...I wish my parents had been able to drop it off, like I asked them to but they left on vacation without it. It took my brothers and sister about 4 days to figure out where they were. NH to Adirondacks, then back to the Cape then to Weedsport, NY then finally winding up in Chautauqua, NY. lol glad you got it ok
