Depth control lever
Hi. New guy here. I have a fast hitch with the lever depth control. Being a big guy with a bionic hip, that lever makes getting on & off a challenge. I saw the low boys have a crank instead of the lever. Was that an option for the taller Cubs? I have a ‘66 International in various shades of yellow & white.

Re: Depth control lever
The bale is different so you will need to change it along with the crank.

Re: Depth control lever
My darling bride suggested this morning that I take a closer look to see if I need the fast hitch at all. You know what? I listened and she is right. I’ll probably get reminded about that for a while. I need my Cub primarily to plow snow, pull a wagon and for fun, to mow grass. (I have a green lawn tractor that does the lawn pretty good. Don’t tell anybody I said that.)
So I have a drawbar on the way. Thank you for reading and helping.

Re: Depth control lever
I've caught myself on the crank style depth control plenty of times. Removing the fast hitch entirely is probably the best course of action here.
Just make sure to keep everything together. I've seen plenty of Cubs over the years with partial fast hitches.
