Drawbar eye bolts
Were the eye bolts that the dog bone attaches to for the plow used for any other implement?

Re: Drawbar eye bolts
Thanks, I was offered a couple that were on a cultivator rod and just wanted to make sure that they weren't needed for something else he had.

Re: Drawbar eye bolts
It seems like there may have been a similar bolt on the ends of the lift rods for the front sections of our shifting gang (steering) cultivator. The model HM-227 for the cultivator comes to mind, but may not be right.

Re: Drawbar eye bolts
You remember well! Probably HM-221. I recall it as formed from a steel rod and captive on the part the eye was attached to. I also want to guess it was 1/2 rather than 5/8. But that is purely a guess.

Re: Drawbar eye bolts
I have a couple of the ones for a cultivator but they are smaller and not threaded. Cotter pin hole in them.

Re: Drawbar eye bolts
They won't look the same, but you can buy the right size from Mcmaster.com You do need the ones for lifting, and they are a package of 4 for $9.12 plus shipping
