Don't know what Don sent you via PM, but he gives great advice.

I'd say stay away from any carb kit from a farm & home store (Rural King, TSC, Orscheln's, etc.). I'd suggest using TM Tractor (http://www.tmtractor.com/new/fl/451fp.htm) or McDonald Carb basic kit (https://www.mcdonaldcarb.com/product_p/mr0114.htm) or their premium kit (https://www.mcdonaldcarb.com/product_p/mr5097.htm). I've purchased their premium kit and have not been disappointed.

Don't know the condition of your carb or what you've done, but a thorough, basic cleaning would be suggested to find out exactly what you need.
  • Is the float height set per specs?
  • Is there linkage or shaft play; too loose?
  • Is there crud in the fuel jet, blocking openings?
  • Is the gas valve holding back the fuel when the float reaches full height?

All these questions can be answered before you buy a rebuild kit. Just throwing out things I've run into over the years. Hope it helps.
