Greetings Cub Community! I am honored to finally join the discussion after years of reading through the treasure trove of valuable info many of you have shared. Thank you.
There was a post by @ShawnAgne in 2017 of a beautiful hydraulic angle control he added to his front blade. I’d like to replicate with something similar, if not exactly the same. With two children under two, I need to be efficient with snow removal and this would help.
I have found the diverter block to send fluid to an aux valve, but I could use any and all suggestions or actual parts for the valve, hose diameter, fitting sizes, hydraulic cylinder, and thoughts on how to mount the cylinder on the blade frame.
Hope this post offers renewed life on anyone else thinking of the same thing. Thank you for your time!

Try this if you don't want to do it with hydraulics.
I've been using it for 11 years now.

I just set mine one direction, and go with it.
Push it to one side on the way down, and to the other the way back up!

Re: International LoBoy L-54 Front Blade Hydraulic Angle Build
I found out this year that the plow and woods 59 play nicely together in the snow on the Loboy Result is that the 59 never has to come off the tractor...that’s my time saver...

Re: International LoBoy L-54 Front Blade Hydraulic Angle Build
Here is my original post for building one for a Farmall Cub. Hose lengths are probably the only things that would be different. The small hydraulic cylinder has held up great even able to to scrape gravel. http://farmallcub.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=64&t=16581
Love mine it really had made snow plowing much better.
Edit: cylinder and valve were purchased from Surplus Center- they still carry the cylinder but do not show that valve. Maybe if you give them the name and number they can advise an alternative

Re: International LoBoy L-54 Front Blade Hydraulic Angle Build
THANK YOU for all the replies!
@Winfield Dave I read through your non-hydraulic option some time ago. I like it but I want to make use of the live hydraulics
@samsfarm our driveway is like a big “S”, plus I’ve offered to take over the duties of some of my neighbors and need to be efficient as I can
@ntrenn great call on the weight of the deck working to your advantage pushing snow. Looks so darn good without it on though
@Bob M thank you for the PM!
@Gary S. Absolutely spectacular write up. Exactly what I was looking for. You are a gentlemen and clearly an engineer. This build looks exactly like what I am trying to do and I can’t wait to start the project. Bravo sir, and THANK YOU!

Re: International LoBoy L-54 Front Blade Hydraulic Angle Build
Mine has a 2" bore x 8" stroke. The hoses are 3/8" diameter and the fittings are JIC. The auxiliary valve is a simple, single spool with an adjustable relief. What ever valve you choose, it must have an adjustable relief that can be adjusted down to at least 1500 psi. Without a relief, the pressure can build at the end of the cylinder stroke and damage the hydraulic system because the Touch Control system relief valve is downstream of your auxiliary valve.
