1948 Trans and final drive
Good morning folks, does anyone know the revision differences between the ( R1/R2 ) trans and final drives, gears, shafts, ect... ?

For any part, the R2 version should be a compatible replacement for the R1. The reverse may not be true. In general, it is unlikely that any of us will know the specifics of what exactly changed from one version to the next.
