Rear Trans Shaft Roller Bearing

Postby Bill E Bob » Thu Dec 31, 2020 8:16 am

Been awhile since I've done this and when I did the trans was removed and in pieces.
Anyway: Can the bearing be replaced with tractor relatively intact, if so, what will it involve beyond removal of the input shaft and the PTO unit?
William (asking for a friend) Brown

trans has to be separated, can leave wheels on and just roll it apart, pull shafts, replace bearing, make sure the imput shaft surface is not beat up where the bearing rides or it will make noise
