brake drum

Postby tomstractor » Sun Dec 20, 2020 9:40 am

The brake drums on my Cub are scored . I wonder if I could take a light cut, 010-.015, on my lathe to even them up. Is this done
like on a car drum?

I wouldn't worry, if it's that low I'd run them but I also don't have a large.

I ended up taking .030 off because the center was worn lower than the outside edges. Cleaned up nice.
