Hey all,
Can anyone help me out with where I can purchase the 7/8”-18 NFx3/8 NPT “special bushing” for the hydraulic fill port?
I’ve called the sponsors on this page as well as 3 hydraulic shops, McMaster, Fastenal, Lawson, MRC, Grainger, a couple Fastener stores in Springfield MO, case dealer, international semi dealer and a Parker distributor. Outside of modifying a plug or buying a die and making one I’m plum out of options.

Re: Special bushing help
Hi,
I don't know what you mean, there is no bushing at the filler plug. The plug just screws into the casting.
You didn't say the part number of the Touch Control. There are different numbers. The number is usually on the left side of the Touch Control block. 360719R1, etc.
Below is a page from the Cub parts manual showing the earlier Touch Controls, there is no separate part shown at the filler plug hole.

Re: Special bushing help
Sorry I left out an important piece. It is the special bushing referenced in the Wagner model 45 manual to connect the auxiliary tank to the touch control reservoir.
The number in the casting is 354383R3.

Re: Special bushing help
Thanks Jim
Appreciate the detailed how to and info.
I had read that and was planning on giving it a try if I couldn’t find something that looked more “factory” on the tractor. In the end I guess it’s usability and I can push my OCD to the side.

Re: Special bushing help
You can use a shorter piece of tubing than I did, making it less obvious.
