I just picked up a Wagner model WM1 loader, and it is missing the front mounting brackets. Does anyone happen to have good pictures showing how one mounts to a cub? I believe the rear of the loader attaches to the final drives, and the front appears to use the square tool mounts on the front bolster. I have attached a picture showing what I need. I’m thinking it should not be too hard to fabricate the missing parts.

So far, Paul and Ringo have arrived. John and George were supposed to follow ages ago, but apparently have gone awol. Long story. - Circle of Safety: Y

Pm sent.
I am in the same boat, and have compiled a bit of information.
First, make sure which version you have. There were three different versions, I believe, and different mounts for standard Cub versus Loboy.
I believe that page you posted shows the standard Cub. Is that what you are mounting on, and is that what your loader was mounted on before?
PM me an email address, and I will forward the information that I have accumulated.

Check out this thread I started a couple of years ago. viewtopic.php?f=1&t=102770
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Re: Wagner WM1 loader mounting brackets
Thank you for the responses. The back mounts make sense, as they just attach to the final drives. But I’m not seeing how the front brackets work. Is the whole front of the loader assembly supported by the square bar going through the steering bolster, or is it also supported on the axle somehow. Seems to be a lot of weight in that one spot.

Re: Wagner WM1 loader mounting brackets
ON the front of your loader does it have a plate that extends down with 2 holes in it, or does it extend down just a little with a plate turned flat going crosswise with 2 holes in it? A picture of the front would be helpful.

Here is a picture of the front. It is just a plate that drops down about 2 inches.

Re: Wagner WM1 loader mounting brackets
That one was the later version of the WM-1. It would mount on a standard cub or a low boy, just used different hardware. I have picturs of the one that worked on a standard cub only, but not that one.

John,
Can you post pics of the front mounting brackets on the one you have? I’m putting mine on a regular cub. Thank you.

Thank you for that picture. That is exactly what I am looking for. Wouldn’t happen to be for sale, would it?
