Fan assembly gasket

Postby Angelofbrz » Thu Oct 22, 2020 4:09 pm

So I finally got The new governor spring on. I took the fan assembly off for more room and used a pair of 45° angled needle nose. While the fan/hub assembly is off I looked it over and that gasket on the inside is rotted an led broken and a little oil seeps out. Do I need to buy one or is there something I can use instead? I want to get it out back together and fire it up now that the spring is on. If I have to buy a new one does anyone have a part number? Thanks!

Throw it away and forget it, looks to have been added by a previous owner, probably after overfilling it.
