Re: Tach drive?
A distributor with the tach drive attached.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Re: Tach drive?
The distributor housing on the earlier Cubs was different than the later ones. If you are trying to put a tach on an earlier Cub, you'll need to change out the distributor housing to one that accepts the tach drive.

Re: Tach drive?
Hi,
Below is a page from the 1965 Cub operator's manual showing the tachometer drive.
http://farmallcub.com/rudi_cub/www.clea ... age-42.jpg
Below are pics from TM Tractor of the 2 different Battery Ignition unit drive housings.
The 1st was used beginning when Battery Ignition came out in 1950, up to Cub serial number 192112, which was in late 1955. They have no hole for the tachometer drive.
The 2nd pic shows the housing used for the tach drive, they came out at serial number 192113.
It has the plate over the hole, which a Cub with no tach would have.
