hydraulic leak near pump

Postby alweld39@fullchannel.net » Sun Aug 23, 2020 10:53 am

Hi guys, I have a leak at the pump wear tubescome in. I ordered 2 new o-ring and put them in. It leaks more now then before. Am I surpose to put 2 o-ring on each tube? This is a 1954 farmall cub. Thank you.

Just one o-ring on each tube. You may have a cracked tube where it attaches to the rectangular stock. Can you pinpoint the leak?

It looks like between the 2 blocks or bolts are. But I'm going to take the tubes off and check for cracks. Thanks for the info.

It's common to have the tubes develop a crack around where they fit into the block. Normal repair that I have seen is brazing.
