My apologies, I know this isn’t the best video. But I’m hoping someone will be able to give me an idea what would be causing this noise. It’s like a rattling sound, and happens while on the move. It happens in reverse, 1st and 3rd gear.

Re: Any idea what this noise is?
Definitely sounds like metal scraping metal. Like the gear in the final drive pan scraping a bolt or rock against the inside of the pan. To me it sounds like sheet metal, not a heavier metal grinding.
Why is there never enough time to do the job right, but always enough time to do it over.

I never thought of checking the final drive. I’ll have to research that. Haven’t really looked into that part of the Cub yet.
