C-3 Mower

Postby ajhbike » Mon Jun 08, 2020 3:28 pm

What is the correct diameter of the PTO pulley on the C-3 please? The one I have has to be around 8". Just got the cub (non FH) and mower a few months ago and everything works well, but the pulley is so big that I cannot put on the rear rockshaft rod and lift mechanism.

they came with a 8" pulley, yes it will hit the rockshaft and it needs to be spaced to clear or take the rockshaft off, I find the C3 works better and easier on the tractor load using the woods type 6.5" pulley

It looks like it has to be spaced at least 3/4" to clear the big pulley...probably not worth fooling with. I'll store the rockshaft for down the road I guess. Thanks Tim...I hope you are healed and back in action. John
