You say that it is converted to 12V, but what is 12V other than the battery and voltage regulator?

Headlights and ignition. I guess not a true conversion.....

? Is the 4 position switch the same except for a different resistor for 6 and 12 volts?

the 12 volt switch has push on spade terminals, 6 volt uses the ring terminal

The light switch stuff is confusing with so many changes combined with substitutions and document errors. I don't think the combination of later style 4-position, 12-volts, and screw connectors was ever factory installed on a Cub. But they do exist and I think that is what I recently put on a 6-volt tractor. I wasn't concerned about dim lights. Now on dim, you have to look closely to see the bulbs glow. The switch on the left is it. The switch on the right is (I believe) 3-position 6-volt. Note the resistors look different from each other.

I think mine came from All States Ag Parts as SKU number 125672. It is on the left in this picture. Note that it is also labeled IHS594 (Steiner number). I think R5362 is the Tisco number, which is probably where everyone is getting them for resale. I don't think TM carries the switch on the left.

Hi,
You didn't say before that the Cub is converted to 12 volts, or if you said it, I didn't see it.

It would be better to put on a 12 volt light switch, if the Cub is 12 volts. :)
