Belly Mower Questions

Postby LittleJohn » Wed Jan 15, 2020 11:04 am

I have a '62 cub with a 59" (?) belly mower. I thought it was a woods mower but the spindle shows DANCO 2587. Looking for parts and/or a manual. The skid plates need to be replaced. Any idea who would have them ?

yes that is an IH/Danco C3 mower, the best skids if the mounting brackets are still there are old leaf springs, they do not wear out, just cut the old spring to length and weld them on. I make the pulley covers and side guards for them, most of the time they are missing or broken off

I have a couple junk ones here, never knew what they were. one is cobbled up on an AC C tractor. junky design so I just tossed them in the iron pile.

the C3 is a tough heavy duty mower, weighs a lot more than a woods and takes a beating, they work well
