Moving cub on rims

Postby Command52 » Fri Jan 03, 2020 8:04 pm

Im in the final stages reassembling my cub after rebuild. WIll I damage my rims if I install just the rims no tires. I need to take to paint shop on my trailer but need to move tractor around on concrete.

Just pushing it around by hand won't hurt anything.

Use some plywood as a buffer between the rims and the concrete.

trailer tires 5 lug on 4.5" centers work front and rear. trailer tire wheels/ and older jeep wheels and a lot of truck tires wheels I have these for flats and pulling tires wheels off parts tractors.

I would use something. What are you going to do after the rims are painted? Run it on the ground again?

I would slap any old rim/tire on to hold it up and not use the good ones.-- you wont hurt them unless they are painted.---then there goes the paint! lol!!

You will need to winch it onto the trailer, those steel rims will just spin on steel ramps, or on most anything else.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!
