Just curious about the different series of pumps
Any one better than another

As far as I know, there was only one pump for the Cub.

Don't understand your use of the word "series". Are you referring to the revision number (the number or numbers after the "R" in the part number)?

The casting was changed a little, a lip seal was changed to an o-ring on the shaft, several internal components (o-rings, fiber washers) were changed, but overall the pump was the same as far as function and output.

This iswhat I was curious about. My 1973 has a Pesco
# ending with 06 it uses a pin seal but pump #s 03,
04,05 don’t. Why did they back to using it?
