This is just a note of appreciation to everyone at the 2019 North East Cub Fest. The salvaged 1947 project Cub that I had dropped off at Cecil’s a couple of weeks previous was running great by the time I was able to get to the fest on Saturday—what an amazing resuscitation. Here is the original state when I first got it:

This was my first cub fest, my first time ever towing a trailer with a cub in my 2WD ‘03 Ranger, and my first introduction to many of the experts who are always helping us newbies on the forum here. Cecil is a wonderful organizer and along with his family made hosting everyone look easy. Many of the guys were asking if I would keep the restoration work going. I hope to have the PTO and lights functioning 100 percent soon, but without a paint job that I have to worry about scratching if I get to mow with the C22 on it next year. That’s at least the plan so far. Now if I can just get it to start again, like the guys did at Cecil’s, I can keep at it. Cheers!

Magic happens at CubFests.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.
