Generator Internal Wiring Diagram - 6v Positive Ground 3-Brush

Postby Wolfstone » Wed Jul 10, 2019 8:53 pm

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the internals of a 6v Delco-Remy 3-Brush generator (positive ground) that would show the connections for the field coils/brushes/terminals?

Go to the PDF manuals, then go to Service Manuals / Delco Remy. Then look at :
Delco Service Manual (OCR)
or
Third Brush Generators.

The first one shows a voltage regulator system, the other cut-out system. Wiring inside the generator is the same either way.

Hi,
That manual, and others, are at Quick links, at the top left of the page.

Jim, I was thinking you posted a drawing before of how the wires inside the generator are connected, not sure if that is what he wants, but it might be. :)
