I think the conventional oil viscosities shown in this chart as recommended by Briggs and Stratton for their 4 cycle engines is very relevant to Cub engines.

Thank you all for your help. I have changed the oil for the first time. The cub is much happier. I also fixed a leak and tighten a fitting.
And then cut some grass.
