Hello
1948 C60 Engine.
Getting ready to have my bare block hot tanked and would like to know if I have to
remove the front idler gear and bushing because of the affect the chemicals may have on the bushing(Bronze??)

My opinion is it would be better to remove the idler gear, and clean it with solvent.
