Cub Tire Question

Hi all, I restored my 1948 Cub over the winter. It’s needing new tires. I have new rims. I haven’t purchased my rear tires yet. Do the rear tires have tubes that go with with them? Or are they tubeless?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Both tube and tubeless are available. Most folks prefer to run tubes.

I think the wheels where the mounting lugs are riveted on are not sealed, therefor requiring a tube even if you have a tire rated for tubless!

Make sure your rims fit the wheel centers before you mount tires.

Have you ever heard of a joke. Did you think my tires are actually square? Come on give me a little credit. Even though I'm from Mississippi I ain't no dumb hick. I was a nuke in the NAVY. My son is a nuclear engineer at Freeport News Shipyard. I act a fool but I ain't one in reality.

Yes, I can take a joke. I thought maybe you thought I was talking about tires but I wanted to be sure you knew I was talking about the rim. I have some bad ones that are not round. I like the tire picture though. Have a good day.

BTW not mad at ya, just it's been 110°+ here for past month and seems like many think I'm a dumb redneck because I farm. I farm to relax (yea relax in this heat I know) but not just you or here but many look down because I retired at 50 but farm to stay active. But many look n see an old man wearin sh!+kickers, an old pair of coveralls n usin a 72 year old tractor n think I'm just a poor probably drunk redneck. But TBH I don't drink, I own everything I have (no debt) I do n live the way I want. I could do like my neighbors n buy a new car, wear expensive shoes n suits (my Sunday fines are silk) but I like my straw hat n boots. I like spellin words the suthurn way. If I wanted I could talk nuclear physics n talk down to ppl, but I was raised to only look down on others IF your reaching to help pull them up. Sry if y'all think I ruined this thread. I just had ta speak my mind y'all. And thanks Fred I understand your thoughts now. I just jumped the gun n thought u thought I was an idiot.

That's interesting. I am a Forester and handle logging mostly and deal with a bunch of the guys in the woods. I always am talking about working on something or fixing this or that. Many times guys are surprised when I say yes I went to college if they ask for some reason...and even more surprised when I tell them I have a master's degree. I dress just like they do and know how to work on stuff and fix things and they don't believe me. Haha, I talk about hunting or four-wheelers or fixing something and they again are just surprised. Can't take a book for it's cover.
