unknown cub cadet model please help

im new to this site its awesome tough.ok my cub cadet project serial num tag is in very bad shape.The hood is missing.i don't know the model num so I cant find a hood or side covers.first row of numbers on the serial tag say 1486101 rest is missing.the second row under that one says 77233 and the rest of those are missing . PLEASE HELP

I'm going to make a suggestion and you can take it or not. Since you don't have a hood or a full serial number, can't you just go to www.tractordata.com and search the pictures of the Cub Cadets until you find the one that matches what you have? You could also post a picture here of yours, that would help considerably. If you need help posting pics, let us know. There are also several tutorials on how to post pics here: viewforum.php?f=148

You could also describe your Cadet: Is it yellow/white or red? Does it have fenders? You mentioned side covers; are you sure it had side covers? What is the serial number of the engine, manufacturer, horsepower? These are all clues to helping us ID your Cadet.
