Two new Chinese carbs.

From www.huztl.com and farmtec even the clone husky chainsaws and parts have the big H on them. Since the parts for the older saws are getting harder to get there being offered.
I want to rebuild some older huskys I logged with. They run forever. The Husqvarna 266SE, 266XP, 268xp, 181, 281 are good saws.

Never feel guilty. I lost my job in ‘83/‘84/‘85 due to high interest rates for machine tools 21% and cheaper imported machine tools put my company out of business. I was buy American. As we were going down the drain during the recession no one cared. Now I could care less if I can save a few bucks I’m happy. I love my Japanese car, my Swedish chainsaws, Chinese saw parts, www.huztl.com has it all from cheaper new saws to affordable bars and chains. In these times it survival of the smartest. I was going from sinking ship to sinking ship in the past. Till I got the engineering job. We designed new products here to be manufactured in other countries. You have to change, adapt, regroup to survive today,

Update,
Finally got to try a Chinese carb on my cc 1200 12hp kohler. Had to drill the hole for the choke rod lever a tad larger but it all went together nicely.
The used 12hp lasted over ten years. She finally died. New carb, tune up, head gasket, but no spark maybe coil. Trying to bandaid it till the winter.

Note, as a mechanic and been to carburetor school I learned a lot in my days.
Note, on any new or rebuilt carb check the float level.
I was fixing a customers car he demanded a rebuilt carb. He didn’t want me to reset the float, I went through five rebuilt carbs with the float level wrong. While my cousin took my customer for coffee I reset the float and fixed it. Sad but true every carb I had problems with.
