Had that happen with a Little Genius plow I dug out of the old machine shed when I was kid. Aired up one tire and went to air up the other tire and heard a ripping sound. I thought I had caught my bibs on something, hence the ripping sound and then looked up and saw an inner tube bubble about the size of a basketball. I did not get my ears covered in time. The tail wheel did the same thing, except I was fast enough to cover my ears this time. No idea how long the plow had sat in the old machine shed before I came along and dug it out. I'd guess, but probably be wrong. Old neighbor's kid says "look, its gonna have puppies" when a tire does that.
