Throttle does not increase until two maybe three notches, carb govenor rod is adjusted, limit bolt on top of govenor is adjusted?

Lubricate all the pivot points in the linkage and governor well. Work it gently back and forth.

also make sure rod from the carb is not rubbing on something making it stick

The throttle levers are NOT that sensitive!! Takes more than 1 notch to make any difference. Never saw one yet that 1 notch did anything. my 140 takes 2 notches then you dont get much. Cub takes a WHOLE bunch before it goes.

The 2 I have experience with are both like this, and there isn't any slop. Outside of a gov adjustment idk what you could do?

I plan on putting a gauge on the crank to make sure I'm getting rated RPM.
