Lew and I are very pleased with our first Cornhusker Cubfest. It was a Great Success! We had people attend from nine states. Enthusiasm was very high. The food was awesome thanks to my Wife and Donna D. all of the Ladies that pitched in to help. There were all kinds of salads and sandwiches along with many desserts. Friday nights meal was Jumbolia and Green beans w/bacon done buy our good friends Buddy and Hope from Bogalosa, LA.. Bob’s carburetor table was busy. William was also working on a Zenith carb. and taking pictures. Two tractors were combined to make one and some of the excess parts went home with one of the hardest working young men that attended. Lucas was a real boost to our hobby. I’d love to thank all of the people who took time out of their lives and busy schedules to make time to attend the First Annual Cornhusker Cubfest! I am delighted with the outcome. Please put us on your calendar and plan to attend next year. Until then, safe travels and good health to you all. Sincerely, Frank

It was a good Cubfest. I think all the projects were either completed or at least made good progress. My return trip was uneventful and done in 9 hours flat.

We pulled back in at home around 6 this morning. What an amazing weekend. I’d like to thank Lew and Frank for all the effort that went into putting this fest together. The facilities were top notch, the food was great as always. It’s always a warm feeling when you arrive and start greeting old friends and make a few new ones.

Ditto to what Chad and Jim said. I dropped wrz off at DIA for his flight back to AZ and got home about 30 min. ago. For their first Cubfest, Frank, Joan, Lew and the other ladies really pulled off a great event. The weather was great too. Can't wait for next year!!

I would just like to say thank you to Frank, Lew and everyone else involved for putting on a wonderful show. I had an amazing time and had lots of fun working on all the projects. It was an amazing learning experience and I wouldn’t have been able to do half of what I did without all of you teaching me some tricks along the way. I look forward to the next one and the next project.
