SOS need help

Ok put the new manifold and gasket on and it still isn't running rough. The exhaust flapper is always open where usually it just flaps. Lot of exhaust coming out around the manifold and doesn't look like its coming up through the exhaust. So wondering could it be a stuck valve? Brother's father in law who is an experience mechanic is coming over to look but just wondering for my sake.

Stuck valve would cause a serious rough idle condition. If it's fairly smooth you might just need to adjust all of the valves. Hopefully it's something that simple. Good luck

Following post found the issue. Distributor was full of crud, spring broke, and the pin for the drive gear snapped. All fixed now
