Pulled this mower out of a pile of stuff yesterday. It definitely needs some work but it’s mostly complete. Asking $50.

Definitely a project….need about $50 worth of Koil rust buster for that mower.
It would make a cool piece of lawn art.

Thought it looked ok, myself. If it were nearby, I’d buy it for that much, if only to use for parts

I do not see the pulley for the PTO and it is expensive. Other than that it looks like it is all there. A pitman is easy if it needs to be repaired (replaced). One thing nice about doing a restoration is that you get familiar with the implement and when done should be good running. In my experience a used piece of equipment isn't always too great. Rust isn't too bad if you do not want a glass like finish. I refinished a rusty scoop a few years ago using only a paint on rust treatment which chemically bonds to thhe rust and to date no rust is showing thru. Maybe the cost to rebuild may be close to the cost of a decent used one but I would take a properly rebuilt one. Vern
