Red Power Round Up, Du Quoin, IL

WOW, really nice. thanks for sharing
My late uncle had one of those offset flail mowers for a cub. the picture you posted makes me wish I had that mower today.

We haven’t been to a round-up for a few years, but I believe this was a good one. With so much area, the tractors are spread out, a good bit, there are a lot more than one realizes. There is lots of really nice stuff, here. We’ve really enjoyed the show and I think the chapter has done all they could think of to make it enjoyable for all those attending. Good job guys and gals. We ran into quite a few forum members, it was good seeing them.

You missed the cub with the Prewett Post Hole Digger. Nice pics thanks for sharing.

Did not miss it, just to many people around it when I was taking pictures.
There was also a yellow lowboy that I did not get a picture of because of the people around it.

I will second what Gary said. A job well done by the Illinois Chapter. :!:

The last RPRU I attended was Du Quoin 2012. I believe there were more tractors here that year but, the representation this year was excellent. I'll leave this RPRU feeling i didn't miss a thing.

Looking forward to next year marks 75 years of Farmall cubs. Being the featured tractor, there are two choices of toy show tractor, a red tractor and a white (demo) tractor. I believe only 350 of each will be made. I just thought you all night want to know that :!:

I also met and talked with the owner of 501. His plan is to have 501 at Springfield next year. I plan on being there too :!:

Rodney, thank you for sharing the pics. Looks like it was a great show.

Yep, I’ve seen the toys and they look nice. Still pretty sour they’re recognizing the Cub and ignoring the 75th anniversary of the Super A though….. :?

They'd "look into it." Which I interpreted to mean T. S. if you know what I mean.....

Yes John, I had the Prewett Post hole Digger the there. A lot of Tractors to see for many different eras.

Last estimate we heard was 400 Tractors

the Southern Illinois Chapter did a excellent job pulling it off.
