Why are they four doors? It’s hard to find a two door or extended cab. I don’t need or want a four door. Id love to get a jeep gladiator. But they only make it n four doors.

My pick-up is a four door and while I really like it there have only been people in the back seat a couple times. It’s very handy, if I’ve been to grocery store or Rural King, just open the back door and set stuff in. Most of the time, though, the back seat is more in the way than it is useful.

We use the back seat for luggage and small stuff when we head out for CubFests and such

My 2006 Silverado 1500 LS 4x4 Crew Cab has 261,000 miles on it. Needs a new radiator, fuel sending unit & fuel lines.
Rockers and cab corners are gone, wheel wells on bed a rotting away, front fender wheel wells are starting to blister. All due to the crap they put on the roads here in CT, and they wonder why bridges are falling apart.
Truck runs great though so I have to put some money into it.

Ya. Me to. New pickups cost almost as much as I paid for the house and the acreage.

Currently having a remanufactured transmission installed in my 95 Dodge 1500. Cheaper than the down payment on a new pickup and less than the price of a well used pickup.

I’ll probably keep what I have. Its a 2007 dakota with 55k miles. Right now the rack and pinion steering is starting to leak at both rubber boots.

Total price for a remanufactued transmission, installed and other work, was $5100-. That included a new transmission oil cooler, transmission mount, and sales tax. Bit more than expected. Not making my chief financial officer, wife, happy.

Worth while investment, my opinion, not wife's. We use the pickup daily, every day.
