I never had the chance to meet or talk with Pete. But I am saddened by your loss. Everyone I have met here at Farmallcub.com has been a great blessing to me. I am saddened I will not get the opportunity to meet him.

Your family is in the prayers of the Shaw family.
 
I am also saddened by Pete's passing. I am hopes that during this time of grieving, that your pain be light, and your fond memories be heavy. Take care, God Bless.

I am also saddened to hear of Pete's passing. He and I corresponded and talked often and I valued his opinions and knowledge. Our prayers are with his family.

I am deeply saddened to hear of your loss, and thank you kindly for your strength in sharing this sad news with all of Pete's Cub friends.

While Pete and I never looked each other in the eye or had the good fortune to shake hands, your husband shared with me a window to his strong character and soul through his many posts and private messages on this forum, and through many telephone conversations we enjoyed over the last year. A fine man.

If there is anything any of us Georgia folks can do for you during this painful and trying time, or in the months and years which follow, please reach out, and we'll be there. On that you have my word.

Take good care Mrs Barbara, and rest easy knowing your beloved Pete is at peace. Now is a time of untold grief, but your pain will gradually give way to fond memories, and your love for Pete will endure.

So very sorry and shocked to read this. Pete and I never got to meet in person, but I enjoyed knowing him through the forum. We are saddened by this loss, and will lift you and your family in our prayers.
 
Mrs barbara, i am shocked to hear this news. i guess i was the only one to meet you and pete face to face. you could tell pete was proud of his pretty bride . i thought very highly of "general pete". our prayers go out to your family and if there is anything i can do for you please ask. 2008 has been a tough year for me i've lost 3 uncles a stepdad and a good friend in Pete. God Bless.
 
I am sorry for your loss , as well as ours , although I have never met Pete or talked to him, I am sure he is like the majority of the Members, humble , with the utmost thoughts of his and her family.
I will miss the posts from pete1941.

Just passing along my condolences. May the family receive comfort from the knowledge that we are all with you in the spirit of the Cub and the family it has facilitated and grown.
