I didn't know the late Charles Getz of Albrightsville PA. In fact, I first heard of him last week when I saw his wife Carol's estate auction notice. Charles died February 10, 2022 and his wife died this year on July 30. I didn't know Charles, but I know I would have liked him. He was a tractor collector. A BIG TIME tractor collector.
Along with his other restored antique tractors, he had 9 restored Farmall H's. I'm now the happy owner of one of them.
My 'new' 1942 H is in amazingly good condition. It has brand new tires, a brand new battery and close to flawless paint. There are no leaks, it starts instantly, and drives like it's brand-new, so I'm guessing that it was also mechanically restored. Kudos to you, Mr. Getz.
