That’s the case for two Farmall Super MTA tractors with consecutive serial numbers that were purchased 44 years apart ... by the same family, the Adamses of Phelps.
The story of these “sibling” tractors starts in 1969, when Alfred Adams bought the family’s original tractor — its serial number was 62798DS — at an auction. With him were his sons Marvin and Lee, who had the honor of driving the tractor home.
