I’m going to do a 12V generator conversion with new wiring harness, VR, guages, & 12V bulbs. Runs perfectly and no smoke. It will stay as-is…in its working clothes. Complete service after 12V conversion and a DONE stamp will go on it.

Mine was converted to 12 volts and they used a Delco alternator. It’s been working great for years.
