I had a bearing on a gold trommel machine that was frozen solid from rust and it really looked like a for sure throw away,,,,, but I decided to see what my new can of Kroil would do for it. after soaking it for a couple of hours I started to get some movement in it,,,,,wow,,,,,,so now I took the seals off and start cleaning it up,,,, after a hour of cleaning and moving it,,,, I put it to the wire wheel and that puppy came alive,,,,,,,greased it up and reassembled it and now I have a like new bearing,,,,,,,, $ saved----$18, a hour of time and fuel to go get a new one,,,,,,,,,I highly recommend Kroil,,,and a lot of fun,,,,It's Bad Stuff :D :D :D :D

Yep, have to agree with you Bugler, that is some BAD STUFF  . Sounds like you are getting ready to do a little prospecting and pan-handling, huh? I think I would make a good gold transporter, hehehehehe Pete

Pete your are welcome to go with me anytime and play in the dirt and for your effort you will get a even split of the gold,,,,,,, it is going for $923.10 a oz the last time I checked,,,, I got a camp on the claim and it is right on the river. I'll keep the porch lite burning. :D :D :D :D

I have looked around in our area for this "Krol" but haven't located it
Did you have to order, or did you find it somewhere?
Thanks,
Bill

Kroil is also "bad stuff" if you breathe in vapors while using it to lube drill bits or any other metal cutting device. A guy I know got an expensive ride in an ambulance after breathing it while lubricating a drill bit in action. ok now, but knocked him out, 6'3" 250lbs. It does work great on rusted parts however! just be careful!

I never breath any fumes that I make in the shop,,,,always wear a canister face mask if I am playing like Dr Frankinstein. be careful,,I use wd40 for drilling and cutting threads. Kroil is on my Best to Use List.

Hey Bugler, good to see you got the computer up and running again. Hope everyone is better up your way and we have been missing your posts. Glad to have you back on line, buddy. Pete

I first saw Kroil in use at Cecil's mini-fest. I ordered that same day from kanolabs. I've now rec'd it and the PB Blaster has been put away in my cabinets. Kroil - is FAR Superior from what I've seen so far.

It blows up the competition. You get what you pay for. Now that they make the bigger can, the price is tolerable.

Ken

Don't forget, you can mix a 1:1 ratio of Acetone and transmission fluid to get a very good penetrant. Fairly inexpensive as well. :)
