I Voted

Went to the precinct voting location at 10AM thinking there wouldn't be any one in line. Wrong. Parking lot was full and over a dozen folks in line or voting. While departing the parking lot, people were still coming in.

Wife and I were numbers 283 and 284 on the vote counting machine. Previously, 150 votes would have been a huge turnout for the precinct, even for a presidential election.

Edit: 11 voting precincts in Osage county, Missouri with a population of around 15000. No standing in line for hours to vote.

Osage county uses computer vote tabulators. But, the Commissioners passed an ordinance shortly after 2020 presidential election that votes had to be hand counted.

Walked in at 11:00, voted and was home by 11:30. That even included stopping by our township secretary's office to chat for about 10 minutes.

Colorado has mail in and in person voting. The ACLU is currently suing the State for the Libertarian Party because the Sec. of State "accidentally" gave access to voting machine passwords in a majority of counties. Undetermined whether any harm was done as of now. It may delay a final count in the election....
