You can get the mower under the cub without all the lifting and dragging. Lay some kind of weight on the hitch bars to hold them down, and drive up to the rear of the mower crossways, and cut the front wheels so the right one just clears the mower pulley, and drive as far forward as possible, then do a little jockeying =forward and backward, cutting the front wheels so mo keep working to the right. To remove, simply reverse the process. With a little practice you will not have to move the mower more than 3 or 4 inches.
 
There are a few youtube videos out there on Cubs and Cub related stuff. I love youtube, but you have to take the videos with a bit of grain of salt. The guy in the one above has a few on installing implements on his Cub, including a disc and a few others. There is another guy who has a couple of good videos, one on a 194 plow and another on a 22 sickle mower.
