:help: can someone please tell me how to install the lift bar attaching plate to the tractor?! I've got a 127 with a manual lift. I've done everything but crawl under it and can't figure out where it gets bolted to

If you mean the square block that attaches to the lift arm, so you can actuate a rear "3-point" lift, then you actually do have to crawl under the tractor to do it. The part looks like this:

The lift block attaches to the mower deck lift rockshaft, under the transmission tunnel, however, in the "narrow frame" Cub Cadets, like the 1x6/1x7, 1x4/1x5, 1x2/1x3 and older tractors, there is no removable transmission tunnel cover, so you literally do have to crawl under the tractor to attach the lift block.

Hi, I am not familiar with the hydro models but pretty sure the installation is the same as these instructions. As Bill mentioned, you have to install from under the Cub Cadet. And as I recall, one of the connections can be a real pain

Plowing with a Cub Cadet is a blast, I have used my 100 and 124 several times. Amazing what those things can do!
