Anyone ever seen someone on this forum build a simple homemade drawbar depth adjusting lever to plow with? Was just curious if someone might have built one and it’s simple and effective and maybe even better than oem.
The hole in the drawbar is larger than the rod. Enough room for the drawbar to be able to move up an down. The nuts are not pulled together tight. Enough slack to work. I can push it way down or up.Can't completely tell from the picture, but it appears to me that you have the rod going straight through the drawbar with nuts top and bottom. You may end up with a problem with it binding there. I think the drawbar us typically angled down quite a bit in normal plowing position. You may need to do something to allow for the changing angle of the drawbar.
I mentioned I either will drill some holes for pins or use nuts. But since then I have been thinking of even better ideas. I will make something that will be on top of platform to secure too. Only thing left to do, not done yet.How are you holding that rod in position on the platform? Do you have that under the platform?
