Opened up the hood on my 2007 Dodger Dakota and found a big hole in the insulation. Just wondering if I should replace it. $300 for a new one.

Called three local junk yards, two of them did not have any and the other will only sell the complete hood.

I think it's because they look like they are grinning when their cheeks are full of seeds.

Thank Peter and Ricky. When I did my google search, all that came up was the $695 one on ebay.
Looks like the best option is Summit Racing.

I wouldn't bother. So what if the paint blisters on the hood from the engine heat.
I'd just remove the remainder of the insulation from the hood to get rid of the bait pile. Don't need those critters hanging around wiring.

I did remove the remaining insulation. I’ll probably buy new one before spring. It shouldn’t get that hot in the winter to ruin the paint. Its a working truck anyway
