Ok posted awhile back on what to do for a muffler for my Cub/184. Some people said to take the 1.25" back down to 1" but I didn't like the idea of restricting it, granted it isn't that much. So spent last week looking around and found the solution. The muffler for the AC C,D,and WD uses a 1 5/8" inlet ID. The 1.25" pipe on the 184 manifold measures 1.660" OD. So I got the AC muffler and then used a exhaust pipe spreader to open it up the little bit I needed to slide it on and BOOM!!! We now have a muffler that looks similar to a Cub muffler but works.
Only thing I have to do is get the exhaust pipe loosened up and remove it so I can cut it down.
