Cub Cadet 125 Front PTO

I have been trying to switch my Cub Cadet 125 from a rototiller to a mower deck and I just picked up another deck, lift frames, and pto dash lever. I am wondering if my front pto is the correct one since I have never worked on this style before. It is locked engaged currently and I ordered the disengaging arm. Are there any other parts missing if you know? Thank you

that would be like my 147 you need the bar with the throwout button on it. --- it sticks up thru the center of the hole and hinges from the bottom . The rod hooks to that and goes to lever.
Your fingers dont look very good from the pix so hard to say IF the clutch even works or not.

Yeah, I've got to rebuild the motor so I'll take it off and go through it and check it out and I'll post the pics when it's apart. Where would be the cheapest place to buy one or a pto rebuild kit if that would help it. Thank you

i re-did mine eons ago--- like in the early 80's and got the parts from IH back then. Now they may not be avail. from anybody.

I believe that's the correct PTO, don't think there's any difference for the uses. There is different PTO's for narrow frame vs. wide frame.
I would suggest going to the CC parts look up to compare what you have vs what it shows. The arm that disengaged the PTO has a "button" on it, can be made of different materials, I believe the first were fiber.
Yes, that's in need of rebuilding, the center button is missing.
There's several parts sources available for the PTO. I haven't rebuilt one in 10+ years, so I'm not up to speed on prices. Cub Cadet Specialties is probably the most complete and popular supplier.
There's plenty of "how to's" easily found and it's good to familiarize with the procedure before you jump in. One frustration is removing the set screws, two in each hole, 3 holes to remove the PTO.
Nothing overly complicated, just take your time and enjoy the process!
Best of luck,
David
