Correct color for a CUB??

This must have been discussed on this forum but I couldn't find it.
Sorry if it's repetitious.
My 1948 CUB is red (no surprise) but it's a quite dark red, almost wine color.
What's the right color?
Of course, knowing there to be perhaps 100 colors called red, what would be the official color?
Hoping there's an answer of some sort, thanks for any replies.

IH 2150 red is as close to the original as currently available paint goes.
I use this paint on all my letter series Farmall tractors and cub tractors.
It goes on heavy and covers great and with the correct hardener looks great.
Also available in spray cans for touching up.

The red in the picture of your Cub looks about right here online.
Below is a listing from TM Tractor Parts for a spray can of Case IH red, for the Cub. The top of the can shows the color, it looks dark, I think they don't have lots of light on the side of the top.

Here is a spray can of Rust Oleum, you can look at the top of it.

I have used both IH 2150 from my local IH dealer and Rustoleum IH red with good results. You can't go wrong with either one.
