CC 122 /Kohler Parts ?

I got the 122 I posted about last fall and I am really impressed with the way it mows. So far, I changed the oil and spark plug, replaced the battery and a new coil. It would die when it got warmed up and the old one looked original. Now it will bog every so often and act like its not getting gas. Disengaging the PTO will usually get it going again. I'm not trying to bush hog with it as the grass height doesn't seem to make any difference.
Now for my questions: First, does anyone know the NAPA nos. for the sediment bowl and carb bowl gaskets? This is a K301.
Second, I checked the links but diedn't find anyone. Is there a site sponsor like TM for CC and Kohler parts? I try to deal locally, but it never hurts to have options. Thanks, John
 
Went through my Prime Line catalog, small engine parts. Didn't see any sediment bowl parts listed.

Suggest visiting all auto parts stores in you neighborhood as well as tractor dealerships.

I've been replacing sediment bowls with ball valves and gravity fed inline fuel filters, because of the quality of a lot of the current repair parts.

Local NAPA and Federated auto parts stores stock Kohler and a lot of mower parts.
 
Thank you Eugene. I just figured I'd ask. I'm going to try my guys at NAPA first, if they have them I'll post the nos. The closest CC dealer is known for being high priced I've been told. But fortunately there are several smallengine shops in the area to check. John
 
Most Kohler parts are available at you local auto parts store including the air filter.

Local hardware store will have the parts for the fuel line,
 
Thanks for the link. NAPA didn't have a gasket so I still need to get one, but it turned out my stalling/dying was the points and/or condenser. Replaced them, gave it some MMO in the gas and so far it been running great. John
 
It turned out to be the points. I got the gaskets from a local CC dealer, points from NAPA. I'd forgotten about this post. Haven't had to mow the yard for awhile!
 
Check the headgasket yet? Everyone of my cadets needed a headgasket.

Used cadets, procedure to get it running,

Starter/ Generator. Clean armature, check brushes.
Ignition, clean and gap points.
Carb, clean carb bowl, make sure the float moves free.
Head, remove the head, check for stuck valves. Replace head gasket.
Clutch, make sure the clutch disc isn’t stuck.
Battery, replace battery, clean cables.
Polarize voltage regulator if it’s not charging.
Check air cleaner. Add a precleaner with a new air cleaner
Change engine oil.
Grease front end
Check front wheel bearings.
Check tranny oil level, change oil.
