Belly Mount Grader

FINLEY got my hands on a grader blade. I had a heck of a time putting it on the cub but here is my question: which hole on the blade should I mount the blade. There are 5 holes and I am thinking the bottom one. But ANY suggestions or does and don't would be much appreciated. Thanks, Dennis

Depends on what you intend to do with it. Normal grading, use the middle. Lightly scraping/smoothing, use the top. Lightly "scooping" use the bottom.
Personally l just keep mine in the middle.

Read the manual and on page 3 it talks about the impact spring having 4 positioning holes for adjusting the angle of attack of the blade, on page 6 the manual talks about the impact spring having 3 positioning holes, my impact spring has 3. Also the tractor in the manual has a massive amount of rear wheel weight.

Depending on how much material you plan on pushing, you may want to consider adding a set of wheel weighs

dont think mine has any springs on it that i know of. ----never had any trouble with the blade. hit a hard place--cub spins out --- raise a hair and go on. ---- i only use first gear about half throttle.

Thanks all for the advice. I am using the the hole 2nd from bottom. A bit of a learning curve for me but getting pretty good at moving 57 gravel on my road.
