Found this sitting at the edge of the neighbor's field. Must have been surfaced by chisel plowing last fall. Any guesses what it came from? I can make out the gear in the center but it has been corroded together so much it must have been laying out there for many decades.

Bottom of a planter's fertilizer can?

First thing I thought of was planter part.
